Argungu is a documentary directed by Adeniyi Olagunju, that focuses on the richness of the culture of Kabawa people ( the people of Argungu) in Nigeria. It starts with the the valour that made the WARRIOR Muhammadu Kanta a great leader.

It provides a semi-autobiographical look at the Kabawa people and their cultural heritage, the survival instinct in the kingdom and the magnificent Argungu fishing festival.

The movie will provides an opportunity to tell the story of environmental conservation that has been inherent in the lifestyle and culture of Kabawa people. For hundred of years, fishing in the river of Kabi Kingdom has been a one day affair, some years the rivers are left unexploited for over a decades because the festival did not happen for one reason or the other.
